CMSAR is a team of trained, professional ground search and rescue volunteers. At the request of law enforcement or other authorized agencies, CMSAR assists with search and rescue operations throughout the Catskills, across New York State, and in surrounding states. The team’s mission is to support the safe recovery of missing or injured persons and to serve their families and communities during critical incidents.
